Deleting your GoochieGoo account
You can delete your GoochieGoo account and everything in it from inside the app, at any time, without asking us. This page explains where the button is and exactly what it removes.
From inside the app
- 1Open GoochieGoo and sign in.
- 2Go to Settings.
- 3Choose Account.
- 4Choose Delete account, and confirm.
What is deleted
- Your account and sign-in credentials.
- Your name, your household, and your setup answers.
- Every baby profile you created — name, date of birth, birth time, sex, feeding style and weight.
- Every log you recorded: feeds, nursing, bottles, pumping, solids, diapers, sleep, naps, and any note or free text you typed.
- Every photo you uploaded, including milestone photos.
- Your milestones, captions and custom titles, and any foods you added.
- Your pediatrician’s details.
- Your notification tokens, so no further notification can reach you.
Timing, and what is kept
Deletion starts immediately and everything above is removed from our live systems within 30 days. Encrypted backups are kept on a rolling schedule and expire on their own; nothing is restored from a backup after a deletion request. We keep only a minimal record that the deletion happened, plus anything a law requires us to retain.
If you cannot sign in
Email us from the address on the account and we will delete it for you. Please write “Delete my account” in the subject line so it reaches the right place quickly.
